Our story

The way the world agrees is broken. We're fixing it.

Every sale, partnership, hire, supplier relationship, and investment ends in a contract. The agreement is the business. And yet most companies still write, review, and negotiate those contracts the way they did in 1995 - slowly, manually, dependent on a small group of expensive specialists, and with the queue building up faster than anyone can clear it.

GenieAI exists to change that. We're building a legal brain that lives inside your organisation. It learns your standards, your risk tolerance, your preferred language. Then it applies those rules to every agreement - drafting from a brief, reviewing counterparty mark-ups, negotiating redlines, surfacing the issues that need a human, and getting documents to ready-to-sign without anyone waiting on legal review.

The mission is simple: empower everyone to agree with confidence.

A note from the founders

We started Genie because we couldn't find a single business team that didn't have a legal bottleneck - and a single legal team that wasn't drowning in routine work. Both problems have the same answer. Build the system that takes the routine off everybody's desk and gives the strategic work back to the people who do it best. That's what we're building.

What we believe

Four principles guide every line of code we ship.

01

Legal expertise should belong to everyone.

Most companies don't have an in-house legal team. They still need to draft, review, and negotiate. We're building the workspace that gives every business team that expertise on demand.

02

Standards beat scaffolding.

Faster contracts only matter if the work is right. We codify your organisation's rules - your fallbacks, your risk tolerance, your house style - and apply them automatically across every deal.

03

Trust is earned at the clause level.

We benchmark our accuracy against qualified lawyers, publish how our agents work, and never train on customer data. Audit trails are built in, not bolted on.

04

AI should remove waiting, not judgement.

Genie handles the standard so you can focus on the strategic. The lawyers and reviewers stay in the loop - they just stop being the bottleneck.

How we operate

Trust the AI. Verify the work.

We benchmark accuracy against qualified lawyers, ship audit trails by default, and treat your data like ours: never used to train models that aren't yours.

ISO 27001 certified

Independently audited security controls. We treat your contracts like our own - encrypted, access-controlled, and never used to train shared models.

Benchmarked against lawyers

Every release is rated for legal accuracy by qualified lawyers. The latest assistant clears 92% - and we publish the methodology so the number means something.

Privacy-first model training

Genie improves independently - through a proprietary 300K+ contract corpus, in-context learning, and lawyer-rated benchmarking. Your contracts never become anyone else's training data.
